Several People Suffered Injuries in a Three-Car Crash at a Busy Fort Myers Intersection, According to Fort Myers Police Officers.
Authorities said that the crash took place at the intersection of Fowler Street and Colonial Boulevard, near the Wawa. The northbound lanes of Colonial Blvd were shut down for a time but have since reopened.
Two people were taken to the hospital as a result of this crash and are expected to be okay.
FMPD said one person is in custody due to being the driver at fault in the crash. They say that a DUI investigation is upcoming.
An eyewitness said he saw the crash happen.
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
