A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after a crash on Veterans Boulevard and Peachland Boulevard in Port Charlotte on Saturday.
Officials with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said the crash only involved the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was flown to Lee Memorial with serious injuries.
Authorities did not reveal the cause of the crash, but declared that the accident remains under investigation.
Fire rescue and tow trucks were at the scene to clear the debris off the road.
No other information was immediately available.
