An Estero man was killed after a crash in Lee County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 25-year-old man was driving a van south on Alico Road, north of Corkscrew Road, around 2:10 a.m when he traveled off the roadway and collided with a tree.
The van came to rest on the west grass shoulder of Alico Road.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. Authorities did not reveal the identity of the deceased.
