Report Says a 63-Year-Old Died in a Multi-Vehicle Crash on the Eastbound Lanes of Atlantic Boulevard Near Kernan Boulevard at East Arlington.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the seven elementary students that were in bus before the accident were not injured. The Florida Highway Patrol said Brenda Snodgrass’ Toyota Camry sedan was eastbound on Atlantic Boulevard and apparently didn’t stop at a red light at Withrow Drive, just west of Kernan Boulevard at East Arlington.
It was reported that her car went under the rear of a school bus that was entering Atlantic Boulevard on reportedly a green signal. Consequently, she struck two other vehicles and ended up on top of the concrete divider in the median.
FHP says Snodgrass was taken to Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, but she did not survive.
The FHP said seven elementary students were on board the bus at the time at this time there have been no injuries reported.
