The Report Says a Serious Traffic Accident on Gateway Boulevard Involving an SUV, Van and Another Vehicle Left Two People Injured.
It was reported that the crash occurred after police received calls about a reckless driver in a Nissan SUV heading northbound on Gateway Boulevard.
Officials say the driver lost control, swerved into the southbound lanes and then crashed into the back of a car narrowly missing the driver’s door. The Nissan also hit the front of a van carrying several passengers.
EMS arrived to the scene of the accident soon after it happened and administered on-site first aid to the injured. Emergency crews reported that the driver of the van sustained minor injuries while driver of the Nissan SUV that caused the crash was critically injured. The driver in the other car did not have any reported injury and all of the injured victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Authorities say that the incident is currently under investigation and no other details were released to the public.
