One Person was Killed and Five Others Suffered Serious Injuries in a Three-Vehicle Crash in Columbia County Friday Evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 6:30 p.m. on US 441 and SE Sprite Loop.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash was a patrol vehicle from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Florida Highway Patrol said a 49-year-old female died in the crash. First responders also took five other people, including some children, to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
