One Person was Killed After a Deadly Crash on SR-31, Officials Said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on SR-31 in the area of Babcock Ranch in Charlotte County Friday night.
FHP disclosed that state troopers were on SR-31, south of the intersection with Bermont Road, where at least one person was killed in a crash.
Authorities did not immediately confirm what led up to the crash.
Tow trucks and Emergency Services were at the scene clearing the debris to allow traffic flow as officials say the accident remains under investigation.
