Two Children Suffered Injuries in a Minibike Crash on Beach Road Monday Afternoon.
Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said a 15-year-old and a 12-year-old were on a mini bike when they were involved in a crash with a truck.
Authorities said the 15-year-old was rushed to Sarasota Hospital while the 12-year-old suffered minor injuries.
The condition of the truck driver has not been released.
Traffic is slow near the 1400 block of Beach Road.
Deputies did not reveal what caused the accident but said it remains under investigation.
