According to a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Officer, a Man is Unconscious After He was Thrown from His Motorcycle in an Accident on Girvin Road.
It was reported that a 37-year-old male was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson westbound on Girvin Road near Ebbtide Court. A 28-year-old driver of a Honda Accord was also driving northbound and crossed the center line.
The report says the Honda driver swerved and hit the motorcycle, throwing off the rider. The motorcycle then slammed into a 3rd vehicle, a Chrysler driven by a 29-year-old, and then came to standstill.
EMS reported the motorcycle rider is critically injured with life-threatening injuries. Upon EMS arrival, he was immediately transported to the nearest hospital in a life support system.
The Honda driver also sustained life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chrysler was not injured.
Police are investigating the accident.
