The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Said One Person was Killed in a Crash at the Intersection of San Jose Boulevard and Julington Creek Road.
According to the report, the two-vehicle crash shut down both directions of San Jose Boulevard for several hours. It was reported by the police that a person was found dead inside one of the vehicles. However, no other injuries were reported.
A witness reported that she drove up on the crash right after it happened and one driver got out his vehicle, seemingly dazed and surprised about what happened.
Report indicated that two sedans, a Mercedes and a Toyota, were damaged at the intersection.
“It looks like maybe a T-bone turn,” said Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Josh Wiggins, who added that it’s unclear which direction each vehicle was traveling. Traffic homicide detectives are investigating.
