A Driver Ran his Car into Another Car while Trying to Outrun the Red Light at the Logan Boulevard North and Green Boulevard Intersection, Police Said.
A Honda Accord T-boned a Subaru sedan while attempting to outrun the red light at the intersection, witnesses reported. The 30-year-old driver of the Subaru sustained serious injuries and paramedics transported the driver to a nearby hospital. The Honda driver, a 27-year-old man, and the 53-year-old female passenger in the car also sustained injuries. Paramedics also transported them to a nearby hospital. Both cars suffered extensive damage from the collision.
The police department has yet to issue a statement pertaining to the crash. The victims’ medical condition is reportedly life-threatening.
Police shut down the intersection at Logan Boulevard North for few hours to clear the scene of the accident.
Fort Myers Police continues to investigate the crash.
