It was Reported that a Crash that Shut Down Palm Beach Boulevard Near Goggin Road Involved Riverdale High School Students.
Report says, the crash shut down Palm Beach Boulevard near Goggin Road. The road was closed in both directions so a medical helicopter could land in order to transport a patient to the hospital.
In a report from Lauren Acevedo, a Riverdale High School student, it was reported that one of her friends was involved in the accident. Other friends of the students involved in the crash say they are grateful no one has died from the crash.
According to the ongoing investigation report, it was learned that 18-year-old Christopher Torres is at fault. Lee County deputies cited Torres for careless driving, after the car Torres he was driving tried to pass a tractor trailer, struck the trailer, then rolled six times.
Though students told NBC2 the names of the friends involved. We haven’t heard their names confirmed from their parents.
Press is awaiting more information from the Lee County School District and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The other two passengers in the car have also not been identified yet.
