According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Motorcyclist Died After He Ran Into a Car that Turned Left in Front of Him on St. Johns Bluff Road.
It was reported that the crash happened on St. Johns Bluff Road in front of the Morocco Shrine Auditorium. Troopers said, the motorcyclist, 23-year-old Alex Latak of Jacksonville, was transported to Memorial Hospital where he later died.
Report says, a 20-year-old woman was driving the car that was turning left onto Morocco Shrine Circle in Jacksonville’s Southside. It was reported that she was not injured.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate. The preliminary report said, charges are pending.
Accident to the accident report, all the southbound lanes of St. Johns Bluff Road were shut down for hours.
This is the second deadly crash involving a motorcycle in a roll in Jacksonville.
