According to Miami Police Department’s Report, One Person is in a Critical Condition While Two Other People are Stable After an Accident on Tamiami Trail.
Report says a serious crash involving two motorcycles and a car has left three people injured on Tamiami Trail. The crash happened between Southwest 16th and 17th Avenue, which prompted police to shut down the portion of the road.
It was report by a detective that an off-duty motorcycle officer heard loud motorcycles a couple of blocks ahead of him and then saw the crash. Report says the motorcycle officer performed CPR on one of the injured motorcyclists until rescue crews arrived.
Miami Police Department believes speed was a likely factor in the crash but traffic homicide detectives will determine the cause.
These are other details given by MPD. Two young men in their 20s were riding motorcycles and a woman was driving the car.
Report says the other motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
