At Least One Person was Hurt in a Crash that Temporarily Shut Down a Portion of McGregor Boulevard Overnight.
Authorities said officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the scene near Sandra Drive.
A single-vehicle slammed into a palm tree, officers said. The driver was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital. The driver’s condition is not known at the moment.
The crash led to the closure of McGregor Boulevard at Sandra Drive for about two hours as officers investigated the crash. Investigators were seen taking photos of the damaged car.
McGregor has since been reopened.
