With heavy hearts, we learned of the passing of a dear and noteworthy colleague, Robert Fenstersheib. Words do not sufficiently convey the tremendous void left by Robert’s death. This loss resonates today throughout our law offices and across the legal industry that Robert served with such passion and vigor.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Robert’s family and friends, and we hope they will feel some sense of solace in the knowledge that this is a man who was deeply respected throughout the legal community. We cannot begin to imagine your sorrow, but please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Robert’s skills as a lawyer were matched only by his generosity as a human being. Happily, consistently, and tirelessly, he contributed both time and funds to local charities and fundraisers. He served on the Board of Directors for the Police Athletic League (PAL) in Hallandale and also supported local sports and community organizations. These contributions came from a place of genuine caring for the world and people around him—a kindness and generosity of spirit that Robert also extended to the people who worked at his firm.
To fully grasp the beauty of Robert’s character, one need only read the words spoken by his lifelong friend, Scott Mager, in a statement to the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “If you want to honor his legacy, you’ll do something nice for someone else. That’s what he would want.”
We cannot imagine a greater legacy.
