Report says, a fatal accident involving a motorcycle shut down multiple lanes of Emerson Street in the Spring Park.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Diosvanis Gonzales-Silva, a 42-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
FHP says, that Gonzales-Silva was riding a motorcycle east on Emerson Street when the fatal accident occurred. He was riding in the left lane approaching the traffic signal at the exit ramp from I-95 northbound.
According to FHP, Gonzales-Silva failed to stop at the red light and entered the intersection coming directly into the path of an oncoming car.
Gonzales-Silva was ejected off his bike and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The details and the conditions of the occupant(s) in the oncoming car has not been made available to the public.
The northbound I-95 exit ramp to Emerson Street was shut down but has since reopened.
