One person suffered injuries after a crash involving a school bus on Edison Avenue near Veronica S Shoemaker Avenue, officials said.
Rescue crews and officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the scene of the crash just before 9:30 a.m.
The driver of the white sedan involved in the collision with the school bus was rushed to Lee Memorial Hospital, a FMPD spokesperson said. His condition is not known.
The crash caused a roadblock in the area, but the scene has since been cleared.
