The Florida Highway Patrol reported that one person has died and two others are seriously injured following a crash in North Naples.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, three cars were involved in the crash that happened on Livingston Road.
The report says a Nissan was traveling northbound on Livingston Road in North Naples when it lost control for an unknown reason. Consequently, the driver of the Nissan died due to the impact of the crash.
The FHP said the Nissan sideswiped a Ford Explorer after it lost control. Based on the report, none of the occupants of the Ford Explorer sustained injuries.
It was reported that a third car, another Nissan with two occupants, was hit and both occupants sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The road was opened to motorists several hours after the crash.
