A woman was killed in a fatal crash that occurred on Starratt Road and New Berlin Road.
Witnesses saw a Honda Civic weaving in and out of the road near New Berlin Road. The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn and collided with a utility pole.
The driver was taken to the hospital where she later died.
The crash led to power outage in the area affecting over 4,000 JEA customers. Police expect the power to come back on within an hour or two.
