A rollover crash on Wednesday night in Labelle has left a father and his teenage daughter dead.
Officials said the two-car crash happened on Palm Beach Boulevard near Fort Denaud Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 38-year-old woman from Alva was speeding eastbound on Palm Beach Boulevard when another car, driven by a 42-year-old man from LaBelle, was backing out of a driveway when the woman’s car slammed into his.
The man had two teenage girls, aged 15 and 13, in the car.
The man and his 15-year-old daughter were thrown from the car after it rolled over and were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities rushed the 13-year-old girl and the other driver to the hospital. Both are in critical condition.
According to troopers, no one was wearing a seatbelt.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
