The accident reportedly happened when a 40-year-old driver in a Nissan Titan was driving on Florida A1A behind a tractor-trailer when the unexpected happened.
It was reported that a traffic accident on Florida A1A left a driver injured after parts from a semi-truck struck the driver’s windshield.
The brake drum and tire thread reportedly separated from one of the tractor-trailer’s wheels. The brake drum then bounced off the road and struck the windshield of the Titan traveling behind the trailer. The driver in the Titan came to a stop after the collision with the trailer’s brake drum.
