According Florida Highway Patrol, a Jacksonville man was killed in a crash on an on-ramp to I-295.
Report says a 37-year-old Jacksonville man, identified as Joshua Holloway, was in an accident while getting onto I-295 southbound from Roosevelt Boulevard. It was reported that the accident happened when he lost control of his car on the onramp.
Troopers added that Holloway crossed the median and drove into the path of a tractor trailer that was southbound on I-295. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the tractor trailer hit Holloway’s 2000 Infiniti Q45, killing him.
It was also reported that a third car traveling southbound on I-295 was also damaged in the crash. Details about the occupants and the condition of the occupants have not yet been made public.
Troopers are still investigating what caused Holloway to lose control of his car.
