According to Miami-Dade Police Department, a juvenile died in a head-on collision on Eureka Drive in Miami.
The report says upon police arrival on the scene of the crash, one vehicle was flipped over and another was damaged. Police freed one person from the flipped car who was reportedly taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, it was reported that a child involved in the wreck was deceased when they arrived. The age of the child has not yet been confirmed.
According to the police, three other people involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said it appeared that the driver of one of the cars tried to make a pass in a no passing zone when they collided with the front end of another car.
The 13600 to 14000 blocks of Eureka Drive will remain closed while traffic detectives investigate the crash.
