Miami-Dade Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash after a man in a wheelchair was struck by a van in the Goulds section of Southwest Miami-Dade.
According to officials, the crash happened along U.S. 1 near Southwest 216th Street, just before 9 p.m.
The victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital by paramedics in unknown condition.
Police said a van hit the man and kept going.
Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers is requesting for anyone with useful information on the incident to call 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
