It was reported that the Florida Highway Patrol has identified two people who died following a rollover in Collier County on Interstate 75.
According to the report, the victims are 66-year-old Marie Chery and 81-year-old Marie Dorange. Both were from North Miami, according to FHP.
The crash occurred near mile marker 85 in Naples. Report says only one vehicle was involved and both victims were passengers of the vehicle.
It was reported that a 36-year-old Junior Chery, also of North Miami, was driving a 2001 Toyota Sequoia when the accident occurred. He was reportedly driving west in the inside of Interstate 75, just west of State Road 29 when he lost control of the SUV and traveled off the road to the left.
According to FHP, the SUV overturned and stopped upright, facing north in the median.
A third passenger, 8-year-old Giovelina Chery, was critically injured and taken to Tampa General Hospital, according to FHP.
The driver received minor injuries and was taken to NCH Downtown Baker Hospital. Alcohol is not considered a factor in the accident. The driver faces a charge of careless driving, according to FHP.
