Report says, man from Whiskey Creek died when his motorcycle flipped on its side and skidded into a SUV on Summerlin Road.
Authorities said, the 38-year-old man was speeding south on Boy Scout Drive in the left lane when the accident occurred. He was riding a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, traffic homicide investigators reported.
The 58-year-old woman was driving the 2008 Ford Expedition SUV. She was reportedly driving northbound on Summerlin Road when she made a left turn onto Boy Scout Drive.
It was reported that the man hit the brakes but his motorcycle fell on its side and then slid into the passenger side of the SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said, the woman was not injured and she stayed at the scene of the collision and cooperated with the investigation.
Detectives said, the motorcycle’s speed contributed to the crash, but the investigation continues.
