A motorcyclist suffered injuries after a hit-and-run crash that happened on Lee and Sunshine Boulevard in LeHigh Acres Saturday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle. The pickup truck left the scene of the crash.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to LeHigh Regional, but troopers said the extent of injuries is unknown.
A white Chevy Silverado 1500 is the suspect vehicle, according to FHP. Lee County deputies did pull over a pickup truck after the crash, but troopers have not confirmed if it’s the suspect truck.
FHP said the accident remains under investigation.
