Fort Myers Police Department said they responded to a crash that killed a motorcyclist.
According to FMPD, police were at the intersection with Laredo Avenue and Ortiz Avenue, where a motorcyclist was involved in a crash with another vehicle, and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead.
The roadway was cleared, and the crash remains under investigation.
Authorities did not reveal what led to the accident and did not disclose if the driver of the other vehicle was harmed in the crash.
The identity of the motorcyclist was not disclosed.
