A motorcyclist is dead after crashing on I-75 in Pembroke Pines.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle crash involved a 41-year-old Hispanic man from Miami who was confirmed dead at the scene by Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue personnel. Officials did not release his name
Investigators said the man was driving north on Interstate 75 in the exit ramp only lane to westbound Pembroke Pines Boulevard when he was launched off the motorcycle.
FHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
Three right lanes and the Pines Boulevard off-ramp were shut down while authorities investigated.
