It was reported that a man and his daughter have been hospitalized after a crash involving two cars on Normandy Boulevard.
Report says a man and his 12-year-old daughter were injured in the crash on Normandy Boulevard after their vehicle was hit by another vehicle causing it to flip over.
The man and his daughter were in a Mitsubishi Lancer when it was hit by a Nissan Murano SUV driven by a 22-year-old man. The Nissan driver was traveling in the eastbound lane and struck the Mitsubishi as it attempted to turn left onto Guardian Drive. The Mitsubishi driver was traveling in the westbound lane when his car was hit on the driver’s side. After the collision the Mitsubishi flipped several times before coming to a halt.
EMS arrived to the scene of the accident soon after it happened to administer on-site first aid to the injured victims in the incident. Emergency crews reported that the man and his daughter both sustained several injuries in the crash.
They were both taken to the nearest medical center for treatment while the driver of the SUV was not hurt in the incident.
Authorities are still investigating the crash and no other details were released.
