The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office say They are Investigating a Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Edgewood Manor Sunday Night After a Pedestrian was Killed.
JSO said the crash happened in the 6000 block of Cleveland Road around 8:15 pm.
Officers said when they arrived at the scene of the crash, they found the victim dead. The man appeared to be in his 60s, JSO said.
Traffic Homicide units are currently on scene conducting their investigation.
All lanes of Cleveland Road are blocked from Edgewood Avenue West to Carroll Drive at this time.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
