A 77-Year-Old Port Charlotte Man is in Critical Condition After a Crash on State Road 776 Near Biscayne Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 77-year-old turned onto State Road 776 just before 8 a.m. directly in front of a Sedan driven by a 27-year old North Port man.
Troopers said the Sedan crashed into the left side of the Port Charlotte man’s van.
Emergency Services transported the 77-year-old to a local hospital in critical condition. The 27-year-old suffered only minor injuries, according to the crash report.
No further information was immediately available but authorities said the crash remains under investigation.
