Authorities Said a Car Crashed with Another Car at the Intersection of Powerline Road and West Cypress Creek Road which Led to Four Injuries.
A 40-year-old man crashed his Nissan Pathfinder into another vehicle at Powerline Road and West Cypress Creek Road intersection. The other vehicle, a Honda was driven by a 54-year-old man who was driving out of West Cypress Creek Road, police said.
It was reported that the Nissan SUV driver attempted to outrun the red light which consequently led to an accident. The SUV crash into the Honda and both vehicles came to a standstill after moving few inches forward, police said.
The two occupants in the Honda, the driver and a male passenger were severely injured, police reported. Likewise, the three occupants of the Nissan Pathfinder, the driver and the two passengers sustained injuries. The crash victims have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
No charge has been filed yet, police said. It was also reported that investigation is still ongoing.
