It was Reported that a 44-Year-Old Woman Sustained Life-Threatening Injuries After a Two-Vehicle Accident on Northwest 31st Avenue.
According to police report, the accident occurred when a 2010 Ford Explorer was heading southbound on Northwest 31st Avenue near Hypower Inc. A 30-year-old man reportedly drove the SUV.
The crash happened when the Ford SUV veered off into the oncoming northbound lanes, police said. Subsequently, the SUV struck a 2009 Buick Encore on its side, forcing both vehicles off the road.
The driver of the Encore, a 21-year-old female, reportedly sustained injuries in the crash. The passenger in her vehicle, a 24-year-old female, sustained life-threatening injuries from the accident. Presently, the medical condition of the driver is unknown.
EMS arrived on the scene and they transported the Encore occupants to the closest hospital by ambulance. The Explorer driver only sustained minor injuries. Paramedics transported him to the same hospital.
Police are still investigating the cause and contributing factors of the accident. No further details have been released to the public yet and charges have not been filed at this time.
