Three People have been Severely Injured After Two Vehicles Collided Into Each Other on Southwest 31st Avenue.
Police said three people were involved in the wreck that happened near Southwest 3rd Street on Southwest 31st Avenue.
Crash reports say a vehicle approaching from Southwest 31st Avenue had ran into another vehicle on Southwest 3rd Street. The first vehicle, a Nissan Altima, was speeding while approaching the intersection.
Police say the driver of the Nissan was a 31-year-old man from Fort Lauderdale. He was not wearing his seat belt when the crash occurred, officials said.
The driver had a severe head injury and was taken to the hospital.
The two occupants of the second vehicle were also injured. Their identities are yet to be revealed by the police. They are also receiving treatment at the hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
