According to a Crash Report, a Man was Struck by a Car in the 600 Block of Hancock Bridge Parkway in Cape Coral.
It was reported that a man, identified as Trevor Lawler, was crossing in the middle of the street when a Chevrolet Camaro struck him. According to the Cape Coral Police Department, the driver of the Camaro was not injured.
The woman kept driving to the intersection of Southeast 4th Place, where she stopped her car and called 9-1-1.
Cape Coral police says Lawler was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Crash investigators determined alcohol was a factor in the crash on Hancock Bridge Parkway. The man had a blood alcohol content of .146.
Report says all lanes of Hancock Bridge Parkway were shut down. Meanwhile, investigators with the Cape Coral Police Department continues work at the scene.
