A Woman Sustained Traumatic Injuries and Several Others Suffered Serious Injuries in a Two-Car Collision on Northwest 20th Street, Police Said.
According to the authorities, the accident happened along Northwest 20th Street at Northwest 25th Avenue intersection. Police spokesman confirmed that a Hyundai Elantra and a Ford Taurus were involved in this accident.
It was reported that the Hyundai was headed west on Northwest 20th Street when the Ford appeared suddenly. Then the driver in the Hyundai pulled out into the intersection from Northwest 25th Avenue, police said. This consequently resulted into a fiery accident between the two vehicles.
The Hyundai driver and the passengers were rushed to a nearby Medical Center in a critical condition. In the Ford, the driver and the passenger were also injured and taken to the Medical Center. According to EMS, the injured victims are expected to survive.
No charge has been filed yet as the cause of the crash is being investigated by the Police Department. Also, no further information has been made available at the time of reporting this occurrence.
