Law Enforcement Officials Reported a Traffic Accident on I-95 Involving a Gas Tanker Truck and a Car.
According to the news release by officials, they say the crash happened when the driver of a gasoline tanker truck collided head-on with the driver of another vehicle. The tanker truck was traveling southbound on I-95 when it suddenly veered out of its lane into the path of a car also traveling southbound. The vehicles collided and, fortunately, the tanker portion of the truck did not leak or burn.
EMS arrived to the scene of the crash and administered on-site first aid to the victims of the crash before taking them to the hospital by ambulance. Reports say, the driver of the car received life-threatening injuries while the tanker truck driver suffered various minor injuries.
Officials say, the crash remains an active investigation and the details of the individuals involved in the crash have not been released by the officials.
