According to Police Report, a 44-Year-Old Woman is Clinging to Life After She was Involved in a Crash in Pembroke Pines.
It was reported that Pembroke Pines police closed both directions of University Drive between Pembroke Road and Pines Boulevard to investigate the crash. The accident reportedly involved a blue 2015 Chevrolet Equinox and a blue 2013 Ford Flex at Howard C. Forman Roadway.
Spokesman for the police, Sgt. John Baker identified the driver of the Equinox as a 44-year-old Rolanda Booker and the driver of the Ford as a 35-year-old Shevon Smith-Alexis.
According to the spokesman Sgt. Baker, Booker turned left from University Drive to go west on Howard C. Forman Roadway and violated Smith-Alexis’ right of way when they crashed.
Report says, both women have been taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. Baker added that Booker’s injuries were life-threatening and Smith-Alexis suffered minor injuries.
