According to the Crash Report, a 17-Year-Old Boy Died from His Injuries, and Two of the Others had to be Airlifted from the Crash in North Port.
Report says four teens were involved in a crash in a stolen car. One of them died, and the other three were taken to hospitals.
The teens, with ages ranging from 13 to 17, drove off the road near Yorkshire Street and Cassava Road in North Port, crashing into a tree, report says.
The deceased was identified as 17-year-old Waylon Bergman. Two of the others had to be airlifted from the crash, report says. The three other teens involved in the crash are in stable condition, according to North Port police.
The North Port Police Department reportedly discovered the Honda had been stolen recently from Port Charlotte. The NPPD’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the crash.
