A North Miami Woman was Killed After a Crash on SR-80 and Lexington Parkway in LaBelle.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck, an SUV, and another car were all involved in the crash. The 38-year-old woman that died was a passenger in the SUV.
Troopers said all three drivers as well as one other passenger in the SUV sustained minor injuries from the crash.
The pickup truck was driving east on SR 80, just east of Lexington Parkway, while the SUV was going east in front of the truck, according to FHP. The front of the truck hit the SUV and both vehicles drove off the road and slammed into a guardrail.
The pickup truck landed partially on top of the guardrail and the SUV ended up back on SR 80, troopers said.
The other car involved was driving east and hit the SUV. FHP said the third car flipped onto its roof after the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
