According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 23-year-old Lehigh Acres Woman was Killed in a Single-Car Crash Along Lee Boulevard.
The Florida Highway patrol identified the deceased victim has Roxana Castro, who died at the scene after the crash.
It was reported that a 23-year-old Andy Gonzalez was driving a 2013 Honda CRV when the accident happened. She was reportedly driving eastbound on Lee east of Colin Ave North and traveled to the left off the roadway and hit a tree.
Report says Gonzalez, who is in serious condition at Lee Memorial, was ejected by the crash. The crash report said Gonzalez was not wearing a seat belt.
The vehicle rotated and collided with a second tree. Castro was separated from the car and belted in her seat when the vehicle was split apart by the force of the crash, the FHP said.
The crash closed Lee between Brian Avenue North and Colin for several hours and at this time is set to open to traffic within the hour.
