A Woman was Killed in a Single-Vehicle Crash Friday Night on Jacksonville’s Northside, According to Police.
Officials say the incident which happened around 7:30 pm when the young driver, who officers described as in her 20′s, was driving southbound on Starratt Road when she collided with a concrete utility pole after failing to negotiate a turn.
Witnesses of the crash told officers the Honda Civic was weaving severely in the road before the crash, according to police.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where officers say she was pronounced dead.
