A Woman in Her 30s was Killed in an Early Morning Hit-and-Run Crash, According to Miami police.
Officers said the accident occurred along Northwest 79th Street and Second Court around 3:45 a.m. First responders rushed to the scene where they found the woman unresponsive.
She was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where she died.
Police say the driver who struck her took off and has not been located.
Authorities are asking anyone with useful information about the crash to please come forward.
The accident caused some delays in the area and traffic was cleared after a few hours.
